The 25th Session of the St. John Paul II Sabbatical Program, which began on August 4, 2025, is now underway!
Participants were warmly welcomed by Rt. Rev. James Maria Wainaina, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Murang’a and vision-bearer of the Program, who also celebrated the Opening Mass.
This session brings together 37 participants—31 priests and 6 sisters—representing 16 dioceses, 11 congregations, and 8 nationalities across two continents.

Over the next four months, participants will take part in activities designed to renew their spiritual life, strengthen personal growth, and inspire a deeper love for God, self, and others.
